There’s a little restaurant in the road opposite Streatham Hill railway Station that has been run by the same people for the last 40 years.
Miriam from the Emerald isles and Carl from Jamaica have kept The Dorchester looking very much the same as it did all of those years ago, the food seems to be very similar in price too.
Miriam keeps you occupied with her quick whit while Carl cooks all of the food by hand, no frozen food in there, it’s all very home cooked!
Last orders at 2pm, out of the door by 2.30pm, they have traditional standards in a place that has a warm welcome and a kind heart.
